MUSTAD Comfortmix Hoofcast is a fibreglass bandage designed for hoof reconstruction and support of a weak hoof wall. It offers reliable stabilisation and helps manage conditions such as laminitis. Easy to apply, it forms a strong, lightweight shell that reinforces the hoof structure and improves weight distribution. For the best result the hoof must be clean and dry before application; protect the coronary band with PVC tape, wrap the hoof first and then activate the bandage by moistening it with a spray bottle or sponge. Then wrap the hoof in film to secure the curing.
